The VCEQ-4 is an improved version of my first voltage controlled equalizer VCEQ-3. The VCEQ-4 has four individual EQ, bypass function, boost/cut function in one sweep manually by knobs or by control voltages and last but not least two different modes for bandwidth control; constant and proportional (found only in "high-end" mixer consoles).
The total noise floor is lower, as well. The frequency, bandwidth and amplitude can be controlled by dedicated knobs or by external signals, individually for each band. All four bands are identical regarding to the frequency, bandwidth and amplitude control.
