Eowave Position Sensors are resistive ribbons. This device outputs the voltage corresponding to the position with 2,5k?/100mm. This technology allows an infinite accuracy. For musical applications, controlling the pitch with a position ribbon will make a perfect continuous controller for glissandos and other theremin-like effects! This 30 cm position ribbon is like a linear potentiometer sensing position. It can be associated to any MIDI parameters but associated to the pitch, it will be a great ribbon controller. instrument with a ribbon ? Just connect the Eomono to your computer and it will be recognized as an audio
device. Per default CC1 is sent to MIDI channel 1, but you may set it differently with
Eomono editor.
