Mini PEG

The 4Ms Mini PEG is the compact, single-channel 8HP version of the famous modular classic PEG.

Like its “big brother”, the Mini PEG is an envelope generator and LFO that can be synced by clock or via the ping button. By multiplying and dividing the cycle length with the integrated clock divider, the possibilities for creative editing of envelope and clock speed are multiplied. This is CV controllable just like envelope shape. In addition, attenuators and offset potentiometers are available for the output. By means of “End Of Fall” control (EOF), which outputs a gate (square), further creative options are offered for triggering within your system.

Features:

• Envelope length is determined by incoming clocks or “pings”
• Ping button (tap tempo) or external clock/trigger determine envelope time
• Div/Mult knob and CV socket divide and multiply ping clock from /32 to x16
• Shape knob with full CV control to waveform the output envelope
• Cycle knob and gate socket for looping through envelopes
• Scale knob acts as an attenuating inverter for the main envelope output
• Maximum 9.5 V peak-to-peak
• Offset control adjusts DC offset in the range of -9.4V to +9.4V
• End-of-fall (EOF) output jack
• Jack can also be configured as end-of-rise, half-rise, or tap clock out
• ENV OUT jack outputs scaled/offset envelope
• The output of the 5V ENV socket always generates an envelope from 0 V to +5 V, regardless of scaling/offset
• Trigger socket starts or restarts an envelope curve
• Can be configured as quantized trigger, async trigger or async gate
