ALM’s S.B.G-Pro — The Bridge Between Your Eurorack System and the Rest of Your Studio

S.B.G-PRO, the follow-up to ALM’s “Stompbox Gateway” is an interface module that connects your Eurorack system with the rest of your audio equipment, be it pedals or other external effect units. It handles mono, stereo, balanced, and unbalanced signals through full-size 6.35mm Neutrik jacks. The module provides attenuation for outgoing modular signals and up to 32dB amplification for returning audio, with LED indicators warning of signal clipping. A crossfader controls the dry/wet mix both manually and through its dedicated CV-input.

Where the original S.B.G focused on stompboxes, the PRO version expands connectivity to rack effects, 500 Series modules, and mixing consoles through high-quality balanced converters with minimal noise. It includes a dedicated expression input with “floating ring” cable for safely sending voltage-limited CV to external gear, plus selectable 3V or 5V outputs. This compact module functions equally well as an effects loop, studio interface, or quality balanced output for your entire system.
