Pony VCO (1u)

The Pony VCO from Befaco is a massive oscillator with Thru-Zero FM, wavefolding and even a VCA in the handy 1U format.

The only 4hp slim module is a full analog oscillator in Eurorack format. It impresses with very good tuning stability in combination with an interesting feature set.
The Pony is capable of Thru-Zero FM, a frequency modulation where the waveform inverts in phase when a negative modulation signal arrives. This allows for tonalities not possible with regular oscillators. Furthermore, the timbre fader (wavefolding) expands the sound spectrum even further and the integrated VCA attenuates everything at the end, which then provides you with a highly usable signal at the output. Lastly, the pony can also gallop very slowly, which in combination with the previous capabilities, gives you highly complex LFO waveforms.
