The A-135-2 is a miniature version of the A-135-1. Four linear VCAs (voltage-controlled amplifiers) and a voltage-controlled mixer based on the VCAs are accommodated on a width of only 8 HP.
Controls, inputs/outputs and functions of each of the four VCAs:

Level (manual adjustment of VCA gain), with small rubberized knob (L1…L4)

Control input with associated attenuator (CV1…CV4), for the full VCA control range approx. 0…+5V control voltage are required (attenuator fully open), higher control voltages can be adjusted with the attenuators. The attenuators are without knob and have only one plastic axis with marking line.

Inputs and outputs are DC coupled. Therefore, the module can also be used to process audio or control signals (e.g. to obtain controllable amplitudes from LFOs or envelopes).

Inputs:

The signal inputs have no attenuators, but the module can process signals up to approx. 15Vpp (i.e. from approx. -7.5V to approx. +7.5V) without distortion. For signals with a higher level an external attenuator would have to be connected

two outputs (“Selected” and “All”):

-Selected output: the sum signal of all VCAs appears here, if no patch cable is plugged into the Out socket of the VCA in question. VCAs with a patch cable plugged into the Out jack are removed from the sum.

-All-output: the sum signal of all VCAs appears here, regardless of whether patch cables are plugged into the Out sockets.
