Doepfer’s A-183-5 is a simple, passive attenuator module that we’ve all missed at one time or another.

Essential must have for all (larger) systems: The 183-5 is a passive attenuator that you can use for either control voltages or audio. Passive here means that between the two jacks is only a 50k pot that attenuates…nothing else. So it draws no current and can be used bidirectionally (if desired).
