Gamut Repetitor by Noise Engineering is a super-efficient CV sequencer that will give you four random but quantized voltages at the same time.
All you need is one (or four) trigger streams, from a clock divider, other sequencers or whatever you come up with. Patch them to Gamut Repetitor and adjust its parameters to taste. Each sequence can be set to a length between 1 and 32 (12 different settings) or infinite random. You can easily adjust the root note, specify the scale (1 v/oct) and octave spread of the generated CV sequences.
In infinite random mode you basically have a generative sequencer. It will continuously change the generated control voltages and that feed your oscillators, creating new melodies. But the Gamut Repetitor does not only generate CV signals, it can also generate randomized repeating rhythm patterns at its trigger outputs. Simply push the Reset button for a couple of seconds and Gamut Repetitor will switch from trigger-pass-through mode to the generative trigger mode.
Features:
- four-channel random quantized voltage generator
- generative CV generation and loopable fixed sequence (up to 32 steps)
- generative trigger mode
- built-in quantizer with 27 scales
