The SED from Rides in the Storm is a characterful filter, with integrated VCA and mixer.
The filter is a selectable (via rear jumper) low or high pass filter with 24dB (3 poles) and a creamy sound. It has an overdrive knob with which it nicely tightens the audio signals, as well as a resonance boot pot.
Furthermore, there are three audio inputs and individual gain controls, which makes SED a suitable mixer. The integrated VCA makes it easy to shape your sounds. Four CV-Ins for the filter control and two for the VCA invite you to modulate the SED elaborately, or for example to create exciting rhythms by opening the VCA and modulating the filter with different sequences.
