M185

The M185 sequencer was the inspiration for Intellijel’s Metropolis sequencer. A new version with exciting features is now available directly from the developer as a Eurorack module! The exciting thing about M185 is how each stage can be handled to program ratcheting, short or long gates, pauses or repeats and the like.
There are eight gate modes available: off, once, ½, 1/3, ¼, probability/programmable, and long. The gate modes make your sequences sound new and benefit from higher step repeats. Another feature is that you can split the sequence at any point to get two parallel or linked sequences. Sequences can be stepped through in four modes: Forward, Pingpong, Random, and Fixed length. Here the M185 invites you to play and makes this very easy with its clear design. To really fit into any studio there is a MIDI input and output as mini jack sockets and a reset input, as well as a sync output.
