MLB is a boolean logic module, similar to the bigger LB5 – but instead of simultaneous outputs for the different functions the MLB only has one output for which you select the mode.
What seems to be a limitation in the first place, actually is pretty interesting when you realize that the mode selection is CV-able. The potentiometer selects between the different modes and acts as an attenuator when a signal is fed to the MODE input.
Functions are:
- dual inverters
- AND / NAND
- OR / NOR
- XOR / XNOR
- D-type flip-flop
