1010 Music Bluebox Eurorack takes the popular 12-channel mixer/multitrack recorder to the next level now even in a modular context.

Finally, the bluebox is also open for modular worlds! The combination of multitrack recorder and 12-channel mixer can record up to 12 single tracks, stereo sum and FX channels on a micro SD card and has an enormous variety of functions in its case. It’s not for nothing that artists like CYRK or Surgeon swear by the small powerhouses of the manufacturer from Los Angeles.
For sound adjustment, a 4-band EQ (cut/shelf/parametric), as well as delay and reverb effects (separate sends for each track) and a punchy master compressor for the necessary “glue” can be controlled via the touch display and the available knobs and buttons. Save and recall options for all settings make the unit an ideal companion for live use, just like the desktop version, but let it shine in a brilliant light especially in the context of modular jams. This is especially due to the fact that the 12 channels can be routed on the hardware side to any combination of the 4 mono or 2 stereo outputs and the headphone output, and the device now has 6 CV inputs. Using the USB-C Port EXT, it is now even possible to send two audio channels from the computer to the bluebox EE or from the bluebox EE to the computer, e.g. to record the mix within a DAW. In addition, the module is equipped with a TRS MIDI I/O port and a USB-C port DEV (MIDI clock/sync or control of MIDI controllers). Last but not least, the output section has also been beefed up and features 12 input and 4 output jacks, so unlike the desktop version, no Y-adapters are needed to control the full number of channels.
