Mega Milton

The MEGA MILTON is your little helper! ALM have packed a useful combination of functions into a neat package.

MEGA MILTON combines many very useful functions to help you in many situations. On a measly 8th you’ll find a line to Eurorack level converter, a mixer, a slew processor, sample & hold with analog noise, and a buffered multiple.

The first section at the very top of the module is the level converter. A 3.5mm stereo input raises the line level signals of your other synths to modular level. A simple principle, but often very useful and who says you can’t send your oscillator through it?
Directly below you will find a mixer with 4 inputs. Three of them are mixed with a unity gain, but the lower fourth one has an attenuator with its own output. The applications are versatile and allow for everything from audio or CV mixing.
The slew processor rounds off incoming signals. This allows you to achieve glides or round off your overtone-rich sounds (sounds like a filter). You can switch the slew on and off using the gate. Conveniently, the output of the sample & hold is normalized to the slew.
The Sample & Hold section mentioned above is fully patchable and provides you with a nice white noise. Sample & Hold circuits let you create exciting modulations that are very suitable for rhythmic randomization.
Finally, you’ll find a buffered multiple that lets you multiply signals without loss.
