Happy Nerding’s FX Aid 1U is a stereo audio effect with 32 algorithms and offers deep access to four algorithms and a routable CV input. The module is based on the Spin F1 chip.
FX Aid 1U offers 32 stereo audio effects arranged in four banks of eight effects. Four user storable presets allows to store selected program and all three controls. It is technically identical to its 3U equivalent.
Additionally, FX AID 1U can be reflashed with other user selected Happy Nerding effects in any order. Also the possibility to run freely available third party effects will be added in the future. The reflashing procedure is quite easy: playing 40 seconds long “wav” file of line level amplitude to CV input. The module features three effect parameters with an assignable CV input which can also be used to control the Sample Rate reducer. By default it runs on 32.77 kHz and, if sample rate reduction is used, this sample rate can be decreased down to 150 Hz or brought up to 48 kHz. An analog Dry/wet potentiometer with dedicated CV input allows to adjust the balance between original and effect signal. Thanks to high quality stereo signal pass, the original signal stays unchanged.
The last used effect, assigns and presets are always remembered and recalled at power up.
