Chorus 6

The SoundForce Chorus 6 is an extremely versatile stereo Juno style BDD chorus with a great amount of manual and CV control options.

The Juno chorus got its special appreciation for a reason. It is a very musical, deep chorus sound that fits many sounds. The Chorus 6 brings this special sound to your modular system. While the original only gave you some fixed presets, the Chorus 6 lets you work on pretty much every aspect of the circuit. This way you can yield very wild and complex sounds from this module that go way past the original chorus idea.

But if you want that special Juno 6/60/106 sound, it is right there. Modes I and II are the classic Juno modes, including pressing both for the I+II mode (with several different presets, see below). Please note: In the I, II and I+II modes, only the mix controls can influence the sound, all the other parameters are fixed and CV inputs are not active. This way you really get the Juno sound when you need it.

The modes EXT and MAN are the modes where you go past the intended use of the Juno chorus. In MAN (manual mode) you can control the sound with all parameters beneath the CONTROLS label and the built in LFO. You can also use the CV inputs on the right of the panel and the EXT IN CV to change the LFO wave, range or add additional modulation of the delay start time.

In EXT (external mode) the actual BBD delay times can be modulated using an external signal through the EXT IN CV input. The Time slider sets the starting delay time and you attenuate the external CV with the EXT ATT slider. Please note: The depth and rate controls, including their CV inputs are not active in this mode.

And now, as promised above, this is how you enter the four I+II presets: While holding down I and II, press the OFF button to cycle through the 4 I+II options:

• Juno 60 mono – 1hz – 8% depth
• Juno 60 stereo – 1hz – 8% depth
• Juno 6 mono – 8hz – 25% depth
• Juno 6 stereo – 8hz – 25% depth
