The Danny Sound MML filter is inspired by the classic Moog ladder filter, but has lowpass, bandpass and highpass modes in addition to CV options.
The Multi-Mode Ladder Filter is based on the classic transistor ladder lowpass filter design by Bob Moog. The fully discrete transistor design with op-amp buffered output allows for smooth saturation to maintain the classic saturated tone of the Moog design. The module features circuitry to compensate for bass loss when resonance is increased in LP mode. In addition, this also achieves the response of the HP filter. However, to achieve a more authentic sound, bass compensation can also be disabled.
Features:
- Multimode filter in Moog-inspired ladder design.
- LP/BP/HP filter modes
- Fully discrete transistor design for classically saturated tonality
- bass compensation option
- CV-controlled resonance
- 2 CV inputs & attenuators for cutoff
