Grainity

Klavis Grainity is an analog VCF that (!novelty!) introduces analog granular synthesis into this part of the Eurorack-world.

Under the hood of Grainity is a multimode filter with the four common modes (2- and 4-pole LP, HP, BP, Notch) and a separate, analog (!)  granular filter. Both filter signals can be proportionally blended to each other via the Mix knob, while the Grains can be manipulated via Division and Structure. Exploring formants, subharmonics and many other traditional VCF sounds also becomes a breeze with Grainity. The signal path is entirely analog wiith phase and amplitude adjustments applied to the audio signal via a digital control. Either the input signal or a signal applied to the Detect jack is analyzed. Numerous controls and CV options offer extensive possibilities for use. A thoroughly interesting fusion of two worlds!
